Dinner at Slane Castle
Prior to the opening night concert on July 23rd in the iconic ballroom of Slane Castle, the BMF welcomes guests to an intimate dinner in the Gandon Room. The 3-course set meal will be an opportunity to experience fine local cuisine in a unique historic setting. Seating for the dinner is limited to 60 guests and early booking is recommended.
The Gandon Room is inspired by James Gandon, one of the principal architects of Slane Castle. A refined and dramatic room, it has been transformed into a comfortable and glamorous restaurant with Gandon’s original designs for the Castle on display in the bookcase.

Booking for this festival dining experience can be made through Slane Castle’s booking system and must be made by Sunday, July 19th. The cost of the dinner is €80 per person.
Please note that tickets for the Concert at Slane Castle should be booked separately from the dinner through this website.
Dinner Terms & Conditions
• Any dietary requirements must be confirmed at time of booking (you will be prompted to do so post payment). An alternative vegetarian/vegan option will be prepared for the number of vegetarian/vegan advised in advance.
• Seating is limited to 60 guests and early booking is recommended.
• Dinner will begin at 6pm sharp to ensure there is no delay to the concert beginning at 8pm so please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes beforehand. Brownes Bar will be open from 5:30pm for those guests wishing to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
• All wine and drink purchases on the night are charged separately and must be settled in full prior to departure.
• Bookings are limited so you may be seated at a table with other parties. Early booking is advisable.
• Ample parking is available in the Slane visitor car park and overflow car park.
• There are limited services available in Slane village so please make sure all taxis are prebooked.
• All bookings are purchased on a non-refundable and non-transferable basis in accordance with these terms and conditions and cover a 4-course set meal at 6pm prior to the concert on Friday July 26th 2024.
• Changes to the cancellations and refunds policy can only be made at the absolute discretion of Slane Castle Ltd.
• SLANE CASTLE LTD accepts no liability for any loss, travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses incurred by a visitor for whatever reason as a result of a event cancellation.
