Impressions
The Boyne Music Festival is thrilled to return to the beautiful expanse of Boann Distillery for an evening fusing chamber music and jazz. The festival is grateful to the Cooney family, founders of Boann Distillery, for opening its doors once again to give guests the opportunity to hear great music in a truly unique space. To a backdrop of copper pot stills, the programme will feature a performance of Ravel’s Sonata for violin and piano (beloved for its second movement, “Blues”), as well as jazz performances by celebrated artists Brigitte Beraha (vocals) and Barry Green (piano), and a guest appearance by New Orleans native Joshua Stewart.
Doors will open at 7:30pm so that guests can try one of Boann Distillery’s fine whiskey and gin cocktails. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.
