Covid-19 measures at the Boyne Music Festival: important information ahead of your visit
In order to welcome you back this summer, the Boyne Music Festival (BMF) is committed to following the most up-to-date Government guidelines for festivals & live events to ensure your safety. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with the following measures. We greatly appreciate your support and cooperation.
What to know before purchasing your ticket:
Tickets are available through advance online purchase only. Please do not arrive at the venue without a ticket.
A maximum of 6 tickets can be bought in any one booking. Please note that this should be for members of the same pod, comprising a maximum of 2 households.
Attendees/pods will be physically distanced (2 metres) from others when viewing the event. If you wish to sit with someone in particular, please purchase the tickets together.
Tickets are not transferable.
Attendees will be asked to complete a health declaration prior to coming on-site. This document will be sent via email to the ticket buyer to share with members of his/her pod, if any, and completed in advance by all attendees. However, copies will also be available at the venue.
Contact details for the primary ticket holder willl be recorded to facilitate contact tracing. Contact details will be kept for twenty-eight days post-event, after which time they will be disposed of in accordance with GDPR.
The BMF is recommending that attendees wear face coverings at all times whilst on-site except when sitting in their designated seats. Exemptions for face coverings shall be for the following groups: under-thirteen years; Individuals with medical conditions, physical or mental illness or disabilities. If attendees have a medical reason for not wearing a face covering, please inform the BMF organisers in advance on boynemusicfestival@gmail.com
BMF Attendees are asked to:
Stay at home if you feel unwell. You can contact the festival prior to the event on boynemusicfestival@gmail.com to receive a refund. For further information on Covid-19 symptoms, visit hse.ie or phone HSE Live 1850 24 1850.
If you feel unwell while onsite, please contact a member of the BMF team immediately who will provide assistance.
Attendees are asked to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes and no later than 10 minutes before each event.
Covid-19 Compliance Volunteers will be available to help you. Please follow their advice and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Keep a distance of 2 metres between you and other attendees at all times, with the exception of members of the same pod (6 people maximum), if any.
Hand sanitising stations will be available. Attendees are also advised to bring their own hand sanitiser and use it regularly.
A one-way system and floor markings will be present around the venue. Please observe the signage for your own and others safety.
Bathroom occupancy will be limited. Please observe the displayed signage.
Attendees are asked to remain in their seats throughout the event if able to do so.
Refreshments will not be available at events.
Other measures at the BMF:
