Robin Panter, originally from Liverpool, studied the Viola in the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. In 2004 Robin was appointed Tutti Viola with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Glasgow. During his time in Scotland, Robin completed his training as a Suzuki Violin teacher, and joined a team of musicians that set up Sistema Scotland, the Scottish partner of the renowned 'El Sistema' programme in Venezuela. Robin now lives in Dublin and works with orchestras and ensembles across Ireland and the UK. Robin performs regularly at Dublin's "Kaleidoscope" night, and has recently started up a Viola club at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin.
