Cork born percussionist Caitríona Frost studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she completed her Masters degree in 2009, graduating with first class honours. Now Dublin based, Caitríona performs regularly with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. She is a current member of Wexford Festival Orchestra. She has also performed with Ulster Orchestra, Irish Chamber Ensemble, Dublin City Jazz Orchestra, Dublin Brass, WASBE International Youth Wind Ensemble, The National Chamber Choir, and at the New Ross Piano Festival. She was involved in two major theater productions in 2012 which are nominees at this year’s 'The Irish Times' Irish Theatre Awards. These included Alice in Funderland at the Abbey Theatre, and Pagliacci at the Everyman Palace Theatre where she performed as actor/musician.

Caitríona also has a range of educational experience. She has worked with the National Concert Hall’s Learn & Explore programme, delivering Samba Sessions in the NCH and at various schools. She was also thrilled to return to the Irish Youth Wind Ensemble for a third year running as percussion tutor. The Ballincollig Concert Band, where Caitríona began her percussion training at five years old, is where she developed a lifelong love for percussion and performance, and is delighted to return to the ensemble for sectional work and performances.
